Depression

Depression isn't just sadness — it can feel like a fog that dims everything: your motivation, your relationships, your sense of self. Whether you're navigating a depressive episode, persistent low mood, or the quiet weight of feeling disconnected from your own life, therapy can help. Together we'll explore what's underneath, gently challenge the patterns keeping you stuck, and work toward reconnecting with what matters most to you.

I can help with

  • Major depressive disorder
  • Persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia)
  • Postpartum & perinatal depression
  • Seasonal affective disorder
  • Low motivation & anhedonia
  • Grief, loss & life transitions
  • Depression alongside anxiety or trauma

Anxiety

Anxiety has a way of making the future feel like a threat and the present feel impossible to settle into. It can show up as constant worry, physical tension, avoidance, or a racing mind that won't quiet down. Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, and somatic techniques, we'll work to understand your anxiety, reduce its grip, and help you build a life that feels less driven by fear and more grounded in what you value.

I can help with

  • Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD)
  • Social anxiety & people-pleasing
  • Panic attacks & panic disorder
  • Health anxiety
  • Perinatal & postpartum anxiety
  • Perfectionism & fear of failure
  • Avoidance & safety behaviors

ADHD

Living with ADHD as an adult often means years of feeling like you're not trying hard enough — when in reality, your brain simply works differently. Therapy for ADHD isn't about fixing you; it's about understanding how your mind works, building systems that actually fit your life, and untangling the shame and frustration that so often come along for the ride. We'll work on practical strategies alongside the emotional side of ADHD that often goes unaddressed.

I can help with

  • Executive function & organization
  • Time blindness & procrastination
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD)
  • ADHD & anxiety or depression
  • Relationships & communication
  • Self-esteem & shame around ADHD

OCD

OCD is far more than hand-washing or checking locks — it's an exhausting cycle of intrusive thoughts, doubt, and compulsions that can quietly take over your life. Many people with OCD suffer for years before getting the right help. I provide specialized, evidence-based treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you reduce the power intrusive thoughts have over you and reclaim your freedom.

I can help with

  • Intrusive thoughts & mental obsessions
  • Compulsive behaviors & rituals
  • Pure O (primarily obsessional OCD)
  • Harm OCD & taboo thoughts
  • Perfectionism and uncertainty intolerance
  • Scrupulosity & moral OCD
  • Perinatal OCD

Trauma

Trauma lives in the body and the nervous system — not just in memories. Whether you experienced a single overwhelming event or years of chronic stress, the effects can show up as hypervigilance, numbness, difficulty trusting, or a persistent sense that something is wrong. My trauma-informed approach honors your story and your pace, drawing on multiple modalities to help you process what happened and feel more present in your life.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly researched, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process and integrate traumatic memories. Rather than talking through events in detail, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to reduce the emotional charge of painful memories — often producing meaningful change more quickly than traditional talk therapy.

  • Single-incident trauma
  • Complex & repeated trauma
  • PTSD & acute stress responses
  • Phobias & distressing memories

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy recognizes that trauma is stored in the body, not just the mind. By tuning into physical sensations, breath, and movement, we can access and release what talk therapy alone sometimes can't reach. This body-based approach supports nervous system regulation and helps you feel safer and more at home in your own body.

  • Nervous system regulation
  • Body-based stress & tension release
  • Somatic awareness & grounding
  • Chronic stress & hypervigilance

Trauma-Informed Care

Everything I do is grounded in trauma-informed principles — meaning safety, trust, and your sense of control are always at the center of our work. You never have to revisit anything before you're ready. Healing happens at your pace, in a space where your experience is honored without judgment.

  • Childhood & developmental trauma
  • Medical & birth trauma
  • Relational & attachment trauma
  • Secondary traumatic stress
